Tuesday to Friday, 2 hours a day, with 8 hours a week per level: - Starter: 10:00 to 12:00 - Intermediate: 13:00 to 15:00 - Advanced: 15:00 to 17:00 What are the Chinese course hours? - Beginning level: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 to 12:00, with 8 hours a week - Intermediate level: Monday and Tuesday, 13:00 to 15:00, with 4 hours a week What are the Thai course hours? Beginner students choose 1 option, with 4 hours a week: - Monday and Wednesday, 10:00 to 12:00 - Monday and Wednesday, 13:00 to 15:00 - Tuesday and Thursday, 13:00 to 15:00 After completing beginner level: - Level 2: Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 to 12:00 - Level 3: Monday and Wednesday, 13:00 to 15:00 What are the school's office hours? Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Class schedules may be adjusted based on enrollment and student needs. Classes and teachers Are classes grouped by proficiency level? Classes are organized by level, but the levels run concurrently at different times during the week. Enrolled students can attend beginner, intermediate and advanced classes that match their course, regardless of the level at which they started. Are the teachers native speakers? Yes. The Thai, English and Chinese courses are taught by native-speaking teachers who are certified to teach their language. How many students are in a class? Classes normally have 10 to 20 students. How often do new classes start, and is there a waitlist if a level is full? There is no fixed intake date. The timetable repeats every week, so students can start in any week once enrollment and visa arrangements are ready. Classes run concurrently and we do not normally operate a waitlist. Do you offer private, evening or weekend lessons? Regular group classes run on weekdays. One beginner Thai group runs online on Monday and Wednesday from 18:00 to 20:00. Private lessons can be arranged. - Thai private lessons: 1,400 THB per hour, or 56,000 THB for 40 hours with 8 months of ED Visa support - English or Chinese private lessons: 1,800 THB per hour, or 72,000 THB for 40 hours with 7 months of ED Visa support We do not have regular weekend group classes. Learning and attendance Will I learn to read and write Thai, or only speak it? The curriculum covers reading, writing, speaking and listening in your chosen language. English is used to support instruction, and progress depends on the student's attendance, practice and effort. What learning progress can I realistically expect? We provide the lessons, learning materials, platform and resources. Your progress depends on how regularly you attend, complete homework and practice outside class, so we cannot guarantee a specific level by a fixed date. Will I receive a certificate or a recognized proficiency level when I finish? You receive Bangkok Language School's own certificate of completion. It is not a CEFR, IELTS or other external qualification and is not issued by another institution. You may use it as evidence of study, but acceptance for employment or another purpose is decided by the organization receiving it. Are there school holidays, and what happens if a holiday falls on my class day? If the school closes for a public holiday, that class is skipped and the timetable continues with the next scheduled class. There is no replacement or makeup class. What if I need to cancel a class, get a makeup session or switch my class time? There are no individual makeup lessons for missed classes, and students do not need to notify the school for an ordinary absence. Levels run concurrently and classes are open to enrolled students at the appropriate level. Missing a class does not pause the timetable or extend the course.

No. We do not offer group discounts, regardless of how many people apply together. Can I pay in monthly installments? No. Payment is required upfront in full. Do you offer study-only rates if I do not need ED Visa support? Yes. Study-only courses are handled by a separate department. Tell us which language you want to study and the duration you prefer, and we will forward your enquiry to the correct team. What payment methods do you accept? We accept credit cards and bank transfers, including international bank transfers. There is no card surcharge. We issue an invoice and an official receipt. Course packages How much do the Thai, English and Chinese courses cost? - Thai: 8 months for 36,000 THB or 14 months for 47,500 THB - English: 7.5 months for 45,500 THB or 12 months for 58,000 THB - Chinese: 4 months for 24,500 THB, 8 months for 44,000 THB or 12 months for 57,000 THB Payment is upfront and immigration fees are separate. What does the course fee cover, and what is charged separately? The package covers the full course and the school's Education Visa document support. Textbooks are purchased separately. The visa application fee, immigration renewal fees and any re-entry permit are also separate and are paid directly to immigration or the relevant authority. What other fees should I budget for? - In-country visa application: 2,000 THB - Each extension: 1,900 THB - Single re-entry permit: 1,000 THB - Multiple re-entry permit: 3,800 THB - Each textbook: 750 to 1,000 THB Students normally need 1 book per level. Are government and immigration fees paid to the school? No. Government fees are not paid to the school. For an in-country application, pay 2,000 THB directly to immigration. Extensions cost 1,900 THB each. Re-entry permits cost 1,000 THB for single entry or 3,800 THB for multiple entry. For an overseas application, follow the payment instructions of the Thai embassy or consulate.
